Find a professional bricklayer in Fitzroy VIC

We’re looking to finish the construction of bricks along our rear courtyard wall. 7.5m in length and 2.7m in height. The wooden panels will be removed before the job commences. You will need to supply the bricks and mortar. Ideally done in a day. We’re flexible on timing. Located on Johnston Street Fitzroy.

See picture attached. I am after someone who can block up where the gate currently is. Cut bricks back closer to the house so the gate goes next to the house. If bricks can be used great as we are painting the wall anyway

Bricklayer needed – raise small garden bed wall (~30 bricks) Looking for an experienced bricklayer to raise the height of the existing brick garden-bed wall shown in the photo. Scope: * Raise the finished top of the wall to one brick course above the current highest point at the deck end * Build the new top level across the wall. Because the existing wall steps down, this will require approximately 1 course at the high end, increasing to 3–4 courses at the lower end * Approximately 30 bricks total * At the deck end, cut the end brick diagonally (approx. 45°) to create a smooth sloping edge rather than a square corner/toe-catching edge * Mortar and finish joints neatly to suit the existing brickwork * Clean up on completion I will supply the bricks. Please supply mortar and any other minor materials/tools required. Easy access to the area. Located in Fitzroy. Please have previous bricklaying experience and appropriate tools, including ability to make a clean diagonal brick cut.

Need someone to repair a small section of wall and remortar another section today or tomorrow Materials supplied by us

I have an older brick house in Fitzroy where the top of one external brick wall is slowly moving outward. This has resulted in: • a small gap forming between the timber wall plate and the brickwork • minor cracking above and around a window • a visible vertical separation at the internal corner The movement appears to be at the top of the wall (likely rotation outward), rather than just a loose timber connection. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or small builder to install a simple restraint to stop any further movement for the short term, as we will be undertaking a full renovation later this year. Likely scope: • install threaded rods or masonry anchors through the timber wall plate into the brickwork • pull the wall plate back tight to the wall • install truss ties / cyclone ties / Pryda triple grips if required • ensure the wall is restrained and stable This does not need to be a permanent engineered solution - just a practical stabilisation. Site conditions: • single storey house • access via ladder (4.5m) • work area above a window internally • photos attached Please supply materials (anchors, chemset, brackets etc) and include in your price. Please confirm how you would approach the stabilisation in your offer.

Need brick pavers removed. Levelled with sand and re set.
