Only the first (or last) vertical blind is moving when we pull the cord. The rest have to be moved manually.

After attempting to remove the blinds from the brackets, the blinds now won’t stay in position. I can pull the cord and it all the way up so they sit on top of the roll, but when I let them down, they just free-roll all the way down.

The blinds are no longer rolling up when I pull the beaded string. Need them replaced or if someone can fix them that would be great.

I have bought a new set of 2100x2700mm roller blinds for a bedroom that I need assistance installing (including removing the existing blinds). I am unsure of the beam construction in the ceiling (the blinds are top-fixing). I had an amateur’s go, but the screws will not bite into the existing holes, but positioning them a centimetre away felt like I was hitting metal…? It is a newly built high-rise apartment. I also need a few small chips in the plaster filled. Job should take ~1hr, flexible on time of day.
