Rough-in: -change shower taps to mixer -vanity drain to be redirected through concrete slab and up the wall to allow floating vanity -vanity taps to be changed to spout and mixer combo coming out from wall -toilet to be changed to back-to-wall style with cistern water stop to be hidden Fitout: -install shower mixer and shower rail -install vanity, basin and spout/mixer -install back-to-wall toilet Pictures attached. Hi there, I’m looking for a skilled and budget-conscious carpenter to help with a bathroom renovation in an older home (Mount Gravatt, Brisbane). I'm managing the trades separately to keep costs down, so I'm after someone reliable and experienced. The job includes: Removing and replacing existing bathroom fixtures (vanity, toilet, etc.)- We can arrange other trades Repairing/replacing rotted timber floorboards Removing some internal walls (some asbestos present) Building new walls to suit a revised layout Preparing the space for plumbing rough-in Completing waterproofing so it's ready for tiling I have a tight budget, so looking for someone flexible, fair, and who understands the nature of working on older homes.
