Serve drinks to students, parents and faculty members . Manage bar, clear away empty drinks and take away waste. There will also be a small selection of food available on a table which should be managed and kept orderly. Assist with clean up of bar and food tables at end of night. I need a bartender for a small birthday party, for 4 hours. Location is in prahran. $30 an hour. Will need to make easy cocktails from a small list of cocktails. Alcohol and tools will be provided. Will also need to do small general tasks incidental to making cocktalls (for example, collecting used glasses and washing them out ready to be used for more cocktails, looking after and refilling beer/champagne bucket, refilling water dispenser, general tidying up towards the end of the 4 hours). Knowledge of drink recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail techniques. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Desirable: Barista or coffee-making experience. Wine knowledge or barista training certification. Experience working in fast-paced bars, pubs, clubs, or hotel venues.
