I have a dress that I absolutely love the entire back, and the colour, but the front of the top part is not very flattering for me. I tried to take it to my usual alterations lady but she said (and I agree) this job is going more into custom dress-making territory. As such I am looking for a Sydney-based dress-maker / seamstress who would like to take on this challenge. I have some ideas but am not fixed on what I’d like the front to look like, I am really happy to be flexible and guided by your experience. I’m 5’2 in height and most of my pants are too long for me So I was wondering how much would you quote me to hem 4 pants perhaps more depending on the price since Looksmart does $25 per pair and it’s a bit much for that amount

Hi, i am looking for someone to make 3x custom bridesmaid dresses. Reference photo of style is attached, however I would like the top to be different on each bridesmaid eg. 1 strapless, 1 one shoulder, 1 halter. I would like the same/similar thick fabric, and colour is TBC.

1. Replace underskirt with new (will provide fabric + materials) - existing skirt is a bit small and the previous owner added a slit and had the train removed. 2. Connect new skirt to bodice/ replace existing. 3. Remove tulle overskirt from dress & make removable - to be fixed with tie (can send you a video of how this will work) and alter this - remove some length.

Looking for someone who can help with minor alterations for around 12 wedding dresses. It's not for a wedding so it doesn't have to look perfect - it just needs to be secure and fit the person. The dresses are donations and going to be used for the Mardi Gras parade. Details: - Need to bring your own sewing machine - Minor alterations include hemming, adjusting straps and adjusting back to fit wider shoulders (like add hook and eye (supplied), sew down excess fabric etc.) - Approx. 12 wedding dresses (some photos attached for reference) - Arrive by 12 for a 12:30pm start this Saturday 8th - Surry Hills location Note: Has to be comfortable with being filmed. Some footage will be used on social media.

We have 120 bags catering bags that require zipper repairs. In some instances the bag zippers are have come loose from the stitching and needs to be attached, others have the slider and or the tag removed. Zippers are green, see pictures.
