Essential - eye for detail, experience, reliable. Job entails changing bed linen, cleaning skirting and surfaces in all rooms, tidying kitchen draws, cleaning fridge, topping up supplies, vacuum and mop all areas, placing dirty linen in washing machine, drying in dryer and put away.

We have three Airbnb’s in Scarborough that averages 3 or 4 cleans a week. Looking for someone for longer term and has someone to be able to clean with them if needed. Please don’t offer assistance if you are not a cleaner - I’m looking for someone who has an eye for detail, takes initiative, works efficiently and has experience preferably with hotel housekeeping. The hours are between 10am and 3pm. Happy to negotiate rate. Small apartment, 2 bedroom with a queen in each room, 1 shower/toilet, open plan lounge/dining area, kitchen. Being a Airbnb listing, the property is set up minimalistically for ease of cleaning. Duties for a clean as follows. Strip and re-make all beds and bathroom towels with linen we supply. Vacuum and mop all floors including under the beds and in the bathroom. Wipe down all surfaces including windows/blinds and sills. Presentation of the bedrooms is to be expected as it is a Airbnb. Clean shower, toilet, hand basin and mirror. Clean lounge and wipe down surfaces in lounge such as side table, t.v unit, fans, and dining table along with windows/blinds/sills. Clean of stove top and oven. Wipe down benches, fridge and microwave interior and exterior. Guests are expected to wash their own dishes and cutlery but we are required to check it is clean and presented well. Remove rubbish (guests are supposed to but sometimes don’t) and put in complex supplied rubbish bins, re-line rubbish bins (both bathroom and kitchen). Leave 2 towels out per bedroom, and check shower gel, shampoo etc stock, toilet roll, restock with provided stock. Clean fridge and place milk, wines, snacks out for guests along with manual. A full standard operating procedure can be provided. - Due date: Needs to be done on 21 August, anytime of the day.

Hey, I need my airbnb cleaned/reset as I won’t be in town to do it myself. It’s a basic clean in a very small apartment. I will send a more detailed list of what needs doing after accepted 😊 I will pay the first clean on the 18th of may through airtasker but for the following cleans I would rather pay directly and it’s a fixed rate of $75 as that’s the Airbnb cleaning fee. There is lots of ongoing cleaning so I will need someone who is available everyday between 10 and 2 for an hour or 2 to do the cleaning but obviously only clean on the days that there are guests checking in/out. One thing to note is that as there is continuous cleaning you’ll need to wash the linen and towels to rotate through them, you can use my washing machine if you like but I don’t have a dryer, alternatively what my past cleaners have done is take home the linen and towels, wash and dry it then bring it back to be swapped out on the next clean.
