Hi, I need a licensed electrician to add 4 extra power points in my apartment. I’ve attached a floor plan: existing power points are marked in blue, and the spots where I’d like new ones added are marked in red, if possible. They’re in a few different rooms, including bathrooms. There are existing power points close to most of the new locations, so I’m hoping it may be possible to connect from those, but you’d need to inspect and confirm. Most of the walls are probably plasterboard, but the bathrooms have tiled walls, so I’m looking for the neatest possible approach. The work needs to be done cleanly, with no damage to the walls or bathroom tiles if possible. I’m looking for a quote and advice on the best way to do this. Please only respond if you are a licensed electrician. Please include your NSW electrical licence number in your offer and confirm that you can provide a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) after completion.

Hi Taskers. Looking for a licensed electrician to install a new power point in our garage. There is currently a ceiling light with an existing electrical connection, as shown in the photos. We would like to know if it is possible to use the existing circuit/wiring to install a standard power point in the garage. Thanks! Gabriel

I’m looking for a licensed electrician/REC to inspect and rectify an electrical defect at my apartment. Nectar Energy attempted to install/replace the smart meter but could not proceed due to a defect recorded as “CUSTFUSE.” Their notice states that the metering installation either has no customer service fuse or the customer service fuse cannot be safely operated. I need an electrician to: * Inspect the electrical/metering setup and customer service fuse * Rectify the issue so Nectar can safely replace/install the smart meter * Provide a clear written description/invoice stating what was repaired, as Nectar requires the detailed reason for the defect to be addressed * Ensure the work is compliant and ready for the meter technician to return Location: Potts Point, NSW 2011 Property: Apartment/unit Please quote for inspection and repair, and let me know if additional parts/work may be required after inspection. Licensed electricians only, please.

***I haven’t bought the offset hook yet - will need help with which one to buy*** Looking for a licensed electrician to install a pendant light over my dining table. The job is to: * Remove one existing downlight and use it as the power source. * Install the pendant approximately 60–90 cm away from the existing downlight using a ceiling hook (offset/swag style). * Install the fitting over the existing downlight location * Hang and test the pendant. No new switch is required, and I’m not looking to relocate wiring through the ceiling—just use the existing downlight circuit with an offset cable to position the pendant over the table. The apartment has plasterboard ceilings and good access to the area. I haven’t purchased the pendant yet, so happy to discuss any compatibility requirements. Please quote including labour only (or let me know if any additional materials such as hooks or cable supports are needed). Thanks!
