Urgent electrical fault - full fault-find & repair needed. I can't assist on site, so please diagnose and fix it independently; I'll only provide access. FAULT: - For weeks, a breaker / the main safety switch tripped intermittently. - Since Thursday it trips the instant it's reset and won't stay on; tripped dozens of times. - Today: no power at all, switch won't stay reset. - As it trips immediately on reset, there's a persistent, active fault - it should be locatable on site. INSTALLATION (from photos): - 3-phase supply, ~80A service fuses, EDMI Atlas Mk10D meter. - Rooftop solar PV + inverter; meter box has separate "Main Switch (Grid Supply)" and "Main Switch (Inverter Supply)". Isolate ALL supplies (grid + solar) before working. - Main board (NHP MOD6): 63A main switch; sub-board to garage; high-load circuits (hot plates, oven, steam oven, Zip HW, A/C, floor heating); RCBO-protected light/power circuits. Board already has modern RCBOs/safety switches. NEEDED: - Attend urgently, do full fault-finding (insulation-resistance / earth-leakage testing as needed), find the faulty circuit/device/appliance, and rectify so power is safely restored. - Check both load side and supply side, incl. solar/inverter. If the fault is on the network/service side, advise if a Level 2 ASP and/or Ausgrid is needed. - Proceed with standard fault-finding & repair, but send a written itemised quote before any major work (switchboard replacement/rewiring), and provide a CCEW on completion.

I need help with two tasks. 1. Hanging a pendant light. The connections are ready to go, just needs to be hung and the wires fed into the socket in the ceiling. 2. Feed an extension cable from 2 high windows to downstairs power points to provide access to wireless blinds. These extension cables need to be hidden behind the wall in the cavities.

Have 5 lights in one panel for the kitchen and lounge area. For three of these lights looking to get dimmers on them. Ideally so they hold the last setting. If possible if we keep a similar size panel but open to options. Light are as pictures. There is 10 lights and these 3 switches control 4, 4 and 2 of them.

The Glow Strap requires a compact, lightweight and rechargeable electronic system capable of controlling three distinct lighting modes. The device will be worn primarily on the arm but should also be suitable for the wrist or ankle. The circuit must incorporate a rechargeable 3.7V lithium-polymer (Li-Po) battery with integrated protection against overcharging, over-discharging and short circuits. Charging should occur via a USB-C port to ensure ease of use and compatibility with modern charging devices. The lighting system must provide three user-selectable modes: Mode Colour Operation Mode 1-Orange- Slow flash every 2–3 seconds Mode 2- Red- Fast flash every 0.5 seconds Mode 3- White- Continuous illumination The circuit should include three tactile buttons, each dedicated to activating one lighting mode. An additional power button may be incorporated if required. Only one mode should operate at a time, with selection of a new mode automatically disabling the previous mode. A microcontroller should be used to control timing sequences, button inputs and power management. The circuit should be designed to maximise battery life while maintaining high visibility. The lighting system must be bright enough to be clearly visible from a minimum distance of 20 metres in low-light conditions. The engineer may utilise individual LEDs, RGB LEDs or RGBW LEDs provided the required colours and brightness levels are achieved. The complete electronic assembly must remain compact enough to fit within a wearable enclosure approximately 80 mm × 60 mm × 20 mm. The system should also be resistant to vibration, sweat and light rain, ensuring reliable outdoor operation. The final deliverables should include a circuit schematic, PCB layout, component list, programmed code and battery life calculations.
