I’m looking for a creative partner to help bring my TikTok series, Ruthie Kowalski’s Christmas Wish, to life. This is a nostalgic, multi-character (think Drew Talbert), 80s-inspired Christmas story that will unfold across ~80 TikTok videos between now and mid-November. What’s Involved: Filming: Sundays at my home in Paddington. We’ll shoot 3–4 videos per session using my iPhone and studio lights. Plan for ~1 hour of discussion/direction before filming begins. Editing: You’ll take raw footage and edit at home. I’d like five polished videos delivered per week (all 80 complete by November 15). Style: Raw and authentic (not overly slick) with an 80s vibe. Greenscreen backgrounds will be used. Tools: Must be highly familiar with TikTok & CapCut editing. Experience adding captions, transitions, syncing with music, and incorporating TikTok-native effects is essential. Creative Input: I’m the director, but I’d love someone who can suggest smarter or easier ways to shoot/edit, and who understands what performs well on TikTok. Experience: Ideal candidate has worked with other creators, knows how to build an audience, and can point to past TikTok success. Budget: $10,000 total (approx. $100/hour). Paid weekly for filming time, plus per completed video. Open to structuring payment in a way that works best for both of us. Requirements: Based in Sydney, available Sundays for filming.
