This is the ideal job for a capable handyman, carpenter, plasterer, tradie, etc. Your job is to install a Hills wall clothes line in my laundry, as follows: - Mounted on the laundry wall on a piece of plywood. The plywood must be bolted to the metal studs in the wall and painted. The clothes line will then be attached to the mounted plywood for maximum strength. - You need to take a trip to bunnings to get the plywood and possibly other parts, which we will reimburse for with cash. I am seeking a licensed builder, roofing contractor, or building inspector to provide an independent inspection and written report regarding hail damage to a residential roof - second opinion. An insurer-appointed assessor has inspected the property and concluded that approximately 5 roof sheets (less than 10%) and ridge capping were damaged by hail, recommending only minor repairs. However, neighbouring houses affected by the same storm have reportedly been assessed for full roof replacement. Because of this discrepancy, I would like an independent professional opinion / second opinion. Scope of work • Attend property in Kangaroo Point. • Inspect metal roof for hail damage • Assess extent and distribution of hail impact to roof sheets, ridge capping and roof penetrations • Provide professional opinion on whether the damage is limited repair or broader roof replacement • Provide a short written report or inspection summary suitable to send to an insurance broker / insurer Requirements • Must hold a QBCC licence (builder, roof plumber, or building inspector) • Experience with storm or hail damage assessments • Ability to provide written report or letter with findings Additional information • Property is an older high-set house with metal roof • Existing insurer report will be provided for reference • Easy access to property
