Looking for someone to fit lockable castor wheels to four IKEA Vangsta extendable tables at our studio in South Brisbane (4 Edmondstone St). The tables get moved regularly for different uses, so they need to roll easily but lock firmly in place when in use. The job: 4 tables, 16 legs total Source and supply suitable lockable castors (happy to reimburse up to a reasonable limit – please confirm cost before purchasing) Install securely on each leg Ensure tables are level and stable with no wobble Keep wheels as low-profile as practical (we'd like to avoid raising table height too much) Tighten any existing bolts or fittings on the tables while you're at it Important note on the legs: Vangsta legs are thin hollow powder-coated steel (approx. 2.4cm × 4.8cm), not solid wood. Standard wood screws into them will likely strip. Open to your recommendation on the right approach – self-tapping metal screws, rivets, clamp-on brackets, or whatever you think will hold properly.
