Existing cooktop is a GASLAND CH60BF, 60cm ceramic electric cooktop. Current cut-out is approximately 560 x 490mm. I’m looking to replace it with another 60cm ceramic cooktop of the same cut-out size so no stone cutting should be required. I can supply the replacement cooktop. Looking for removal of the old unit and installation/connection of the new one.

I need someone experienced with stone/marble kitchen benchtops to slightly enlarge the existing cooktop cut-out so my induction cooktop fits properly. The cooktop installation and electrical work are already done and working, we are using it. The electrician who came to install didn't have tools to cut the stone. Hi, I need help fixing one burner igniter on my Omega 4-burner gas cooktop. The Problem: We accidentally used charcoal on this burner, and now the igniter clicks normally when turned on, but the spark won't jump to light the gas. Current Status: Gas flows fine, and the burner lights immediately with an external lighter, so the gas line and ports are clear. The issue is strictly with the spark/igniter electrode (likely heat damage or carbon buildup from the charcoal). I am looking to Remove Gas cook top so I can install new stone bench top. And Install New gas cook top same day (once the stone work is done or come back later. Also remove and install 60cm slide out Rangehood. This can be done while removing the gas cook top. Plz note you can remove and install new Rangehood and also remove gas cooktop at same time but you will have to come back in the evening to install new gas cooktop once stone is installed. This has to be done strictly around 7/8am in the morning on Wednesday. Or late evening on Tuesday.
