Motor still runs and produces heat, just won't spin

The freezer section temperature is ok. But the fridge temperature is not. It stays around 9 degrees. Veggies get bad very soon. Its a Samsung fridge - 4 years old. Model number - SR400LSTC

This fridge and it’s freezer section both stopped working all of a sudden one day, and by stop working I mean it stopped being cold. A few days later the LCD display started going weird and eventually died.
