I am looking for a dress maker to do alterations. I am looking for someone in the Marrickville, Earlwood area. I am looking for someone who can follow a pattern as these are not cheap items. I have a dress that needs letting out around the bodice, some pants that need taking in on the waste band, a jacket that needs the buttons moved, and a jump suit that needs the hem taken up. I would be wanting to know what experience you have with following a pattern.

I would need linen dress pants altered. Job includes taking in on the waist and hips and shortening legs. Local area, please. Timeframe in December. If it works out, I have 10+ other garments to alter.

I have a jacket that doesn't quite fit right - shoulders and sleeves need alterations.

I bought a (designer) doona cover from the USA in Queen size, but it turns out the sizes are different from Oz sizes and it needs to be made smaller to fit a standard AU Queen doona. It has a decorative border which makes the job not as straight forward, but it could be altered by changing just two of the sides which would mean the closing/button side would not have to be altered which would decrease the work. I will attach images of the edge. I am in the Marrickville area.

I need urgent help to alter a bridesmaid dress before this Saturday 26th October. The dress does not zip up all the way and not enough fabric in the seams to expand. The zip is on the back of the dress. Either need to add some sort of back straps above where the zip stops or alter the sides around the waist somehow. In desperate need to get this fixed please!

I have a bassinet where the zip on one of the sides won’t do up and seems to have come off the runner. The zip is a solid plastic zip and the material is mesh. Brand is Chicco next to me bassinet. Would love someone to help me fix it next week sometime!
