I need some work done on my favourite vintage dress. I’ve been wearing this dress for over 15 years but unfortunately it no longer fits me in the chest. There is also a rip in the armpit that needs repairing. As I can only zip the dress up halfway, I’m hoping there’s a way to either add in some fabric to let it out or replace the zipper to a shorter one that ends where I can currently zip the dress to and turn this into more of an open back dress that ties at the base of the neck (see last photo for what I mean). Open to any ideas!

It’s a brand new fabric covered bed head (which can be detached from the bed) and it’s too high for the space it’s in. It’s right in front of a window. We would like it shorted and reupholstered using the same fabric. I think this job probably requires a professional upholsterer. It’s basically a piece of timber covered in padding and fabric.
