The task involves hanging 8 internal wooden doors, all 2300 high, with a mix of widths from 620-820mm. All of the hinges are loose-pin butt hinges, with the inner leaf and the knuckles already fixed to the metal door frames. So this task is to fit the other half of the hinges onto the doors, and hang them onto the knuckles. There are 3 hinges per door, with one exception (2 only). In addition, each door has to have a HANDLE installed. The old doors have been removed, and no preparation of the existing door frames is required - all that's needed is putting on the new doors. They are solid MDF, mostly weighing around 28kg, but three are heavier because they have a mirror on one side. I can assist with lifting and holding the doors if that helps. -------------- I've put on a nominal price on the Budget, because I don't really know how long the task is. Eight metal doors have welded in butt hinges. I'm replacing the old timber doors with new ones. Unfortunately the knuckles on the hinges wont take the pins of modern hinges (knuckles are too narrow). So I need the old butt hinges cut out, and new ones put into the cut in the side of the door. 24 new ones in total (8 x 3). - Due date: Before Wednesday, 21 June 2023

Shower door is not returning to closed central position due to wear of the bottom hinge receptacle (poor design). The plastic hinge receptacle that is fixed to the shower frame appears to be the issue, rather than the metal hinge plate fixed to the door. Need someone to remove door, replace plastic hinge receptacle (I have the replacement hinges, see photos) and reinstate door and any bottom rail seals/silicon).
