I recently purchased a 2010 GMC Terrain SLT (2.4L EcoTec) and need a skilled mechanic to help me diagnose and fix a few issues so I can get it to pass smog and get registered. The previous owner claims the engine was replaced (current chassis is at ~180k, replacement engine supposedly has ~115k). It runs, but the timing feels off and it is currently throwing codes and failing smog. 1. Timing & Smog Diagnostics (Highest Priority) • Remaining OBD-II Codes:P0420, P0442, C0A00, B2AAA • Done so far: Both upstream and downstream O2​ sensors have been replaced. Fuses have been checked. 2. Rear Wheel Hubs: Both rear wheel hubs need to be replaced. • Note: They are currently completely seized/stuck, and I couldn't get them off with standard tools. 3. Electrical & Sensors • Stabilitrak: Dash lights indicate the Stabilitrak system needs attention (likely tied to code C0A00). Needs diagnosis. • TPMS: New tire pressure sensors were installed, but they are failing to sync/reprogram to the ECU. 4. Comfort & Convenience Fixes • Passenger Rear Window regulator - replacement just needs to be properly installed. • A/C System: Blows warm air. •It was recently recharged, and the fuses are good, but it's still not cooling. What I am looking for: An experienced mobile mechanic or someone with a shop who has a high-end diagnostic scanner and experience with GM EcoTec 2.4L engines. Please quote for the initial comprehensive diagnosis and the straightforward physical fixes (like the window). It will be installed in a 2023 KIA Forte I have all the equipment and parts for installation. I just need the know how . I tried to do it myself and cut the wrong wires behind the head unit and have lost all sound but the head unit works still and I will be keeping the stock head unit. The sub/amp combo will be installed under the passenger seat. Again, I have all the equipment and parts needed for wiring and all the tools as well including crutchfield wiring diagrams/instructions.
