New house, built 2022. The builders must have let a piece of timber fall down the sewage inspection point and never told anyone or got it out. It's standing vertical but about 1.5m down the pipe (PIpe is about 15cm wide). Wedged and we can poke it but it doesn't move easy. We didn't realise it was there for the first few years and now its out of the inspection/maintenance period but noticed that our system would get blocked up easily. There must be a tool that can help get this out, like a claw or a hook but it would need to be narrow. Or attaching something magnetic to the wood and then using a magnet...

Need somebody to sit with my employee for safety. He'll be working on a roof and you'll be on the ground. That's it. You might occasionally spot a ladder or hand him a tool. But 99% of the time you're just sitting there on the ground. You must have labour work clothes. 10am to 4pm

My rooftop ladder has snapped and i have purchased a replacement which is like for like however the metal part (circled)which attaches ladder to roofbox looks to have been modified meaning the new replacement doesn't fit the tentbox. Looks like will need 2 new holes drilled so that old part switches onto new. I dont have the tool to remove these things (pic attatched) Have tried to just use bottom of new ladder and slide into H bar of old but old one is damaged. My dad who is in the UK says that should be able to drill out rivets with 4mm drill bit and then fix bracket onto new replacement with m4 nut and bolt (i dont have)

A few of the timber louvre blades on our upstairs window (see photos) have come loose or split at the ends. One blade has broken near the hinge point, and another has a missing pin and broken near the hinge point too. Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to: • Inspect the window and identify what needs to be repaired or replaced, • Reattach / repair the damaged timber louvre(s), • Ensure the blades open and close properly, • Sand and touch up paint for a neat finish (optional but preferred). Access is easy from inside the property. Please bring any tools, pins, or materials required. Location: Paddington NSW Timing: Flexible — anytime in the next week or two.

Wooden louvred screen (already purchased) needs to be attached to block wall at right angles, and fixed on its outer, lower edge to a concrete pad via a blade post (purchased). My plan is to brace the screen with two planks 30mmX90mm (or120) for fixation to block wall and concrete pad (dynabolts). Would prefer tasker to inspect first so I can purchase what he thinks is needed
