A couple of ridge corner tiles have come loose on my tiled roof (see photo). The bedding mortar has deteriorated and needs to be properly re-bedded and re-pointed — not just patched. I need someone with roofing experience to: • Remove old mortar • Re-bed 2 ridge corner tiles and around 2 adjacent flat tiles • Re-point with flexible compound Roof is single-storey, easy access, safe pitch. I can provide photos of the exact section. Please only offer if you’ve done ridge tile re-bedding before (not just silicone or pointing touch-ups). Task includes: labour, tools, and materials (or let me know if you want me to supply bedding and pointing mix).

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter, roof plumber, or suitably qualified handyman to repair and reinstate the external soffit (eaves lining) on my home. The soffit was previously cut to allow cabling to be installed and now needs to be properly repaired, closed up, and sealed. Fixing the soffit is the priority for this job. The opening is approximately 1 metre long (see photo) and is located on a single-storey house, with easy external access. Once the soffit repair is assessed, I would also like the gutter above this area checked to ensure there are no leaks or water issues. Scope of work: • Repair and reinstate the soffit (eaves lining) — priority task • Patch or replace soffit neatly around existing cabling • Check surrounding timber for any weather exposure • Seal and weatherproof the repaired area • Inspect gutter above the area and advise if any repair is required Photos attached for reference.

I’m seeking an experienced roofing professional to complete insurance-related roof repairs at a residential property in Canberra (ACT). The work relates to hail-affected roof tiles and associated safety access requirements and must be completed in accordance with ACT building standards, WHS obligations, and insurer expectations.
