Tree removal

Pruning and maintenance

Trimming is also important to remove any diseased or dying branches to make sure they don’t fall and cause injury. Depending on the tree and branch size, your tree pruner will use either an electric chainsaw or a pruning saw, along with secateurs to trim back branches.

Stump grinding

Stump grinding is often required after a tree is removed to fully extract the stump or grind it lower than ground level. Your specialist will clear the area and move their stump grinding equipment into place before using the stump grinding blade to gradually bring the stump back below ground level. They’ll then cover it with soil. This is to ensure the tree won’t reshoot and grass can grow over it. Leaving a tree stump in the ground or untouched can attract termites and other pests. Plus, it will always sit in the way of landscaping attempts or leisure activities in your backyard.
