Wanting tiles and grout removed in preparation for floating timber flooring to be laid. Unit is currently furnished but can have space empty. Kitchen layout is slightly different, fridge section cupboard no longer there. UPDATE: The house plan shows the outline in red for the amount of flooring that needs to be removed, this is approx. 45m2 (this is going off the floor installation quote, my measurments say 38m2) of tiling to be removed. Kitchen tiler required to tile kitchen backsplash. Area is 3.4 square metre. Tiles to be laid over the top of old tiles. White gloss subway tiles 29 x 9.5. To be laid in herringbone patterns. I will supply adhesive, grout, tiles, silicone and tile trim.
Worst tile job I have ever seen. I don’t think Harry is actually qualified in anything. He took no accountability for the terrible and unfinished job he did. I also requested an invoice as stated in his profile summary, I was going to try and claim it on insurance to get it fixed but I never got it from him. Oh well maybe the ACCC will have better luck getting the invoice for me. I would never hire him again or recommend him. He didn’t have the tools he needed to complete the tiling, he didn’t put any silicone between the bottom tiles and the bench and was a whole row of tiles missing all the way around the kitchen. It was a mess and we are still trying to fix the mess he made.
