I’m looking for an experienced and reliable tiler or waterproofing professional to repair the grout and replace the silicone in my ensuite shower. Grout replacement — shower tiles to make it watertight. Im needed grout replacement in the joints between the shower floor tiles, particularly where the grout is cracked, damaged, deteriorated or showing signs of water penetration, in my ensuite shower. The job includes: • Regrout the shower tile joints with suitable bathroom grout. Must bring and supply. Silicone replacement - sealing over cracks on the walls and shower joints. • Apply high-quality, mould-resistant bathroom silicone to the shower perimeter. • Ensure the silicone seals are neat, continuous and watertight. There has previously been some water leakage around the shower area, so I’m particularly looking for someone with experience repairing showers and understanding waterproofing requirements. The shower was not installed properly by the previous owner, and while | plan to renovate the bathroom in the future, I need a quality repair that will keep it watertight for the next few years. The work required includes: * Repairing a leak where water escapes from the shower screen/door. * Removing and replacing worn, cracked, or missing grout throughout the shower. * Resealing all necessary joints with silicone, including the junction between the shower base/tub and the wall tiles. * Repairing or replacing two loose pebble floor tiles (I'm happy for these to be replaced if that's the easiest and most durable solution). * Sealing the shower once the repairs are complete. The grout in my tiled shower area is mouldy, discoloured and coming away in some places. Most of the damage is at the shower end of the bathtub, where the area receives the most water. The silicone around the bathtub, wall corners and glass shower screen also needs replacing. Please provide separate quotes for: 1. Repairing only the damaged areas. 2. I have a shower over bath that needs to be regrouted (edges and in between tiles). The sealant around my drain and showerhead has come off so please include in quote.
