I need a person to be a waiter/waitress for 1 day at my wedding at home. Can be male or female, but must be between 18 and 35 years old. It is a standing buffet party, no cooking needed. Time: 1 PM - 6 PM (5 hours) Date: Saturday, 7 June Rate: 35 AUD per hour (total: 175) Dress code: simple white/black shirt and black pants. Description: - The party starts at 2 PM, but you arrive at 1 PM to start preparing. - Open the door, welcome guests in. (They will ring the doorbell) - Serve guests and answer their questions - Fill up food, drink, ice, dessert, cutlery, etc (from fridge/oven to table). - Basic cleaning, wipe tables, put trash away, fill the dishwasher. - Make sure everything runs smoothly, be neat and clean. - Communicate with me or my husband if anything goes wrong. - Any other small tasks required on the day. Others: - No heavy lifting, no cooking (but you will be asked to warm up the food using oven/microwave). - Be punctual, be nice and patient to our guests. - We have coffee, tea and water for you.
