Moving house from our 1 bedroom apartment to a townhouse in Ascot Vale. Only large item is a queen mattress, no other furniture bar small items like a low fold up table and computer in box. Other items to move include 4 large suitcases, 2 small suitcases and approx 3 large boxes and 5 small boxes. Suitcases will mainly be clothing, boxes will be crockery and general belongings. Moving to a new apartment which is 15 minutes away from my current apartment in Southbank area. Looking to get help with moving furniture like fridge, couch, coffee table, mattress (single and double bed), bedside drawers(3) and work desks (3 dismantled) and one bed frame (dismantled) and some other stuff like suitcases and bags.

Hi, We are moving on the 24th of March (12pm sharp) and would like to hire an affordable mover. A small truck is likely to be sufficient. Items are at two locations: Southbank and Flemington and being moved to Melton West. If you only have a Van I'm happy to do two trips to accommodate for the right price. Two men will be assisting you so the job will be quick. At Southbank there is easy side access for moving only with a moving lift. Apartment is about 5m from the lift. There are no stairs to contend with. No stairs in Flemington either and no stairs at destination in Melton West. Everything will be ready to load. There will be no disassembly of any beds etc. Everything will be ready to load and move. Here is a list of the items from the top of my head: Southbank Location: - Small/medium Fridge - 2.5 seater couch - King Single bed and mattress - small bookshelf that is about 15-20kgs - large desk (no screws) a large table top resting on two drawer stands (IKEA style) - 65 inch TV and the entertainment unit it sits on - a small gym bench with 8 dumbbells - 6 tea chest size moving boxes - stick vacuum cleaner - front loading washing machine - dryer - medium sized microwave Flemington location: - similar to above butther is no fridge, bookshelf, bench and weights but there is a queen bed and mattress. I'd appreciate a reasonable fixed price. I estimate the move will take about 3-4hours.
