Move heavy furniture within my house (Hendra) Hi! I’m in Hendra in a two-storey Queenslander and need a few heavy furniture items moved from one room to another within my home (no ute/van required). Because the stairs are a bit narrow and some items are heavy/awkward, I’m looking for people with experience moving bulky furniture safely. Items to move: 1 x heavy old 3-seater leather couch (from upstairs to downstairs) 1 x light old kitchen table (from upstairs to downstairs) 1 x old wardrobe (from upstairs bedroom to upstairs veranda) 2 x large heavy wooden cupboards (from downstairs garage into downstairs lounge + downstairs bedroom) What you’ll need: Probably 2 strong people, maybe 3 (you tell me what’s safest) Experience manoeuvring heavy furniture around stairs/angles Blankets or sliders etc. if you normally use them No vehicle needed – all moves are inside the house. I need someone with a ute or van to help me move a few items from my storage unit in Hendra to my apartment in Mitchelton. *Does not require a big moving van, is just for the furniture I can’t fit in my small car.* None of the items are particularly heavy, but some are large enough that require two people to carry them.
