I’m looking for professional removalists (2 people + truck) to help move my mum from Torquay, Hervey Bay to Golden Beach, Caloundra. Job details: • Property: 2‑bedroom unit in Hervey Bay • Destination: Golden Beach, Caloundra • Distance: approx. 3 hours’ drive • Date: next Thursday 23 April (between 7am - 2pm) What we need help with: • Bringing all moving equipment (truck, trolley, straps, blankets etc.) • Careful packing of remaining items in the 2‑bedroom unit (we will have some things already packed, but will need help finishing off) • Dismantling and reassembling basic furniture if required (beds, etc.) • Loading everything into the truck at Torquay • Driving Torquay → Golden Beach • Unloading and placing furniture and boxes in the studio ground level space Main items include (approx): • 1 king size bed and mattress • Lounge • TV and TV unit • Dining table and chairs • bedside tables and small furniture items • approx 30 Boxes, tubs, bags, personal items Access: • Torquay unit: 14 stairs to main bedroom • Golden Beach: flat ground level studio apartment Requirements: • Experienced, reliable removalists • Own truck suitable for a 2‑bedroom move • Must be able to handle fragile items with care • Preferably insured and able to provide reviews/references Budget: I’m expecting this to be around $1,500 (all inclusive) for 2 removalists + truck, including packing, loading, travel, unloading, and some unpacking, but open to offers based on your experience and time estimate.
