Move date: Furniture needs to be picked up on Wednesday, 16 July from Dicky Beach. I am driving down to Avalon on Thursday, 17 July. Delivery to Avalon can be Thursday, 17 July (night time) or Friday 18 July. What’s being moved: Not a whole house load — just one person’s stuff, including: • A few boxes, bags & personal effects. • King bed frame (probably not the mattress). It’s a floating bed & I have no idea how to put it back together, so ideally it would not be taken apart. • Small 3-seater couch + 1 recliner • TV stand (no TV) + other small display stand. • Fridge • Washing machine • Desk + chair That’s pretty much it — no oversized wardrobes or other heavy furniture collections. Just the essentials with a couple of larger items. There are no stairs or elevators to contend with at either location. Both are single story dwellings. I purchased a IKEA walk in robe and had organised for delivery into the main bedroom. However, I was unable to be at the property to meet the delivery and the delivery was left in the garage. I have a handyman coming to assemble the boxes tomorrow and need them shifted from the garage to the main bedroom. The distance to move the boxes is less than 50m and requires navigating only 2 small stairs out of the garage. Access to the main bedroom is through a large sliding door.
