We have a garage that needs to be cleared as we're moving house and downsizing. Would be great if items could be upcycled/recycled where possible e.g. items taken for recycling, for sale in charity shops etc, but we really just want it all cleared. It's about 6-8 square metres of household junk. We're trying to sell some large furniture. Anything we haven't sold by the time of the garage clearance, we also need to be disposed. Budget is an idea only and we're negotiable. The main thing is we need the garage reliably cleared on the day.

I will be hiring a van on the 23rd March, driving around to pick up a number of things, mostly light items however, there will be a couple of awkward and heavy items so will need someone who is able to handle that. In total, will be making 5 stops. You can jump in the van with me.

I am looking to move my furniture around inside my house. For example a couple of tallboy chest of drawers need to be moved around, a chest of drawers with a big mirror on top, two large desks, couch, tv, tv cabinet, entertainment cabinet, a buffet, a single mattress and maybe some boxes. I need four men to assist with dismantle and assembly of five beds, move 4 sofa's and 5 living room chairs, 2 dining tables, 2 fridges and a deep freezer. 2 buffets for the dining tables and three TVs. 2 BBQ and 2 small smokers. A washing machine and a dishwasher. The houses are 5 minutes apart. In the current house there are no stairs, however, in the new house there are three steps to reach the main house door and the four bedrooms are on the first floor where the beds will go.
