Reposting because of a change of date! Looking for removalists to help with a move from a 1-bedroom apartment in Brunswick East to Melbourne CBD, ideally Saturday morning, 3 October. Main items: * Single-door fridge * 2-seater couch * Queen mattress + bed frame * A couple of small drawers * Shoe rack * 2 chairs * Boxes of personal belongings * Other small household items Overall a fairly straightforward 1-bedroom apartment move. The CBD apartment is an older, low-rise building on La Trobe Street with a lift. There is one short flight of stairs from the building entrance before getting to the lift. There are two parking spaces around 20m from the building entrance on La Trobe Street. The parking restrictions are: Mon–Fri 7am–4pm: 30-minute Loading Zone
Mon–Fri 4pm–10pm: 2P metered parking
Sat–Sun 7am–10pm: 2P metered parking I’m flexible with the move being Friday or Saturday and with the time. I thought Saturday morning might be easier given the parking situation and weekday traffic, but I’m very open to suggestions from anyone experienced with CBD moves. There is also rear access via Bennetts Lane, but the area near the rear entrance is marked “Keep Clear”, so the building manager can’t officially approve a removalist truck parking there. Would especially appreciate someone experienced with CBD moves who can suggest the easiest way to handle the truck/parking situation. Pickup location: Brunswick East VIC 3057, Australia Drop-off location: Melbourne VIC 3004, Australia Removals size: Apartment Stairs: At delivery
