Please read to the end for all details - a simple task, but seems some people don’t want to read! 🙃 A task of both transportation and a little on-road care: Seeking a person who is already going to be driving far north and can stop at Townsville: I have 12 (twelve) houseplants to move from Toowong (Brisbane) to Julago (Townsville) - could fit on back seat of a car, or the back of a small van if someone is going to drive up to /through Townsville (from Brisbane) - no wind please (the plants need to be protected from wind damage and direct hot sun - don’t want the plants to suffer too much(!). Two larger (a Boston Fern; and a Birds Nest Fern) plus 10(ten) smaller, more fragile houseplants (again, strong movements, hot sun, and direct wind to be minimised as much as possible). I can provide a spray bottle with water to mist the plants occasionally, to keep the leaves hydrated, and obviously, I will water two days before collection, so they don't drip. Each pot base will be wrapped in plastic to stop any leakage and packed into cardboard boxes for stability. Just need a driver willing to transport them, and spray the leaves a little with water during the journey. NB. No, I won’t pay 1/2 the fee up-front in the form of ‘cash for fuel’ - so don’t ask - this is not how Airtasker works. The task must be completed first, plants delivered safely to destination (alive and healthy), then I will release the payment.
