Fix Toilet Making Hissing/Sucking Noise I’m looking for someone with plumbing experience to diagnose and fix my toilet cistern. Issue: * The toilet makes a constant hissing noise after flushing. * Earlier it was making intermittent “sucking” noises. * The cistern fills normally and the water stops when the float is lifted manually. * The water level sits close to the overflow. * There is no water trickling into the toilet bowl, so it doesn’t appear to be leaking through the flush valve. * Moving the cistern/lid briefly stopped the noise, but it has returned. I’m not sure if it’s the inlet/fill valve, a float adjustment, or something else. I’d like someone to inspect it, diagnose the problem, and repair it if possible. My apartment's external laundry room has been recently demolished and so I now need my washing machine to be set up next to the dishwasher in the kitchen. The washing machine needs to be moved from the first floor to a second floor apartment. The dishwasher is currently set up, however both machines will be using the same tap, so they will need to be set up with a joiner. I should have all parts necessary to complete the installation.
