Photography assistant required for a full-day fashion campaign shoot in studio. You’ll be assisting me on set for around 8 hours inc bump in and bump out. Mostly digi-op and setting up / packing down lighting. For digi-op, you’ll need to set up deselect folders for each look, manage the capture one catalog, apply basic camera corrections to each photo and make star-ranked selects as I shoot. Half of this shoot will also be shot on 120mm (medium format) film - a good working level of this format would be helpful but not essential. Hi, I’m looking for a keen amateur or budding professional photographer (male or female) interested in being my assistant for a 3-hour professional beach modelling shoot on Monday 8th of April at 1pm. The location will be Curl Curl Beach NSW and we have a professional model already booked in for the shoot. This would be a great opportunity for a photographer who would like to learn more about what’s involved in a location photoshoot - the setup, the equipment needed, model releases, the proper use of reflectors, off-camera flash etc. Your tasks will involve the handling and appropriate positioning of the light reflectors & off-camera flash plus generally providing assistance as required during the shoot. I have successfully conducted several location shoots without assistance but I’m putting this offer out there for anyone interested in learning more about shooting outdoors, modelling shoots & photography in general.
