Looking for a painter to professionally paint our kitchen and living room, including 4 internal doors and any associated window frames/sills. Our kitchen is being renovated currently, so looking for someone to paint in that first week of September. The work includes full surface preparation (filling, sanding, cleaning/degreasing, and spot priming where needed), painting walls, ceilings, doors, and trims. All areas must be properly protected during the job, and the space left clean and tidy on completion. I've attached photos of the spaces and the mock up of the kitchen. Please provide a quote including labour and materials, number of coats, expected duration, and confirmation of whether preparation, doors, and frames are included. Preparation and painting of one bedroom (4 walls, each approx 3.5 x 2.5 meters + architraves, skirting boards, window sill and door) + wallpaper (paper) removal from 1 wall prior to painting. Preparation to include: light sanding of walls and picture rail / skirting boards; filling / patching / repair of any cracks (if necessary), removal of wallpaper and glue etc from 1 wall and any required cleaning / preparation for painting following removal. We also need to paint Laundry sliding door and the main front entry door: paint only the inside face, exterior side does not need to get painted. Kitchen and living areas are excluded, no painting required. Work scope: 1. Fill nail holes and wall blemishes, light sanding to smooth surfaces before painting. 2. Mask window frames, power points Carpet protection is not needed, old carpet will be removed for hybrid flooring right after painting. 3. Includes lounge/dining area and 2 bedrooms. Kitchen and bathroom not required to be done. Apartment is currently empty. We work 8:30-5 so will meet at the apartment to let you in at the start of the day and can meet once the job is finished.

Bathroom walls and ceiling need painting - some minor scraping, sanding and wiping down surfaces will be required as part of the preparation. Paints are already purchased and if necessary the equipment can also be provided. Best if you can bring your own ladder though. It is a small bathroom, should be able to do the job in one day. Not sure what the going rates are - negotiable.
