The back wall (Wall 4) will not require painting as we're installing acoustic panels. Surfaces requiring painting: - Wall 1: 4.0 m × 2.7 m - Wall 2 (with window): 4.5 m × 2.7 m - Wall 3 (with sliding cavity door): 4.5 m × 2.7 m - Ceiling: 4.0 m × 4.5 m - Cornices: All around room (including Wall 4) - Skirting boards: Entire room (excluding Wall 4) - Architraves: Window + sliding door - Sliding door: Just theatre side - Air-conditioning vent: Needs cleaning, priming and painting matte black Approximate paintable area (Excluding rough allowances for the window) - Walls: ≈ 37 m² - Ceiling: ≈ 18.0 m² -Total primary surfaces: ≈ 55 m² - Plus: trims, cornices, skirting, architraves, sliding door, and vent. A full, detailed quote should cover all prep, labour, paint, and materials. PAINT & COLOURS Painter to supply paint, but we’ll discuss final colour selection onsite (likely matte black + dark charcoal finishes suitable for a theatre room). OTHER NOTES - Walls are in good condition. - Must be experienced in matte / flat dark finishes, as this is a home theatre and imperfections show easily - Flexible on timing, ideally within the next few weeks.
