Car Hi, I need a mobile mechanic to come out to my car in the Fitzroy area. The car has a collapsed top driver-side (RHS) hydraulic mount and a snapped lower rear torque strut mount that has caused the engine block to drop out of alignment. Because the engine shifted, the starter motor has also failed and needs to be replaced. I have already purchased all the brand-new parts (the complete 4-piece engine mount kit and the automatic transmission starter motor but they don’t com till Monday or Wednesday ). Requirements for the job: 1. You will need to bring a trolley jack and a block of wood to safely lift the engine block back into factory position from underneath before bolting on the new mounts. 2. The starter motor on this R18A1 engine sits at the back under the intake manifold. It can be accessed from underneath or by removing the front right wheel and feeding long extensions/swivels past the CV axle area. 3. Please check the starter solenoid wiring and main engine grounding straps while under there to ensure they weren't torn when the engine block dropped. Looking to pay $280 for labour. Please bring your own tools, stands, and jacks. Flat ground space is available to work on. Thanks!

2013 VW Amarok 2.0 bi-turbo with 220k km on the clock. Car has EGR delete and tune. Coolant reservoir is pressuring. This was checked by electronically bringing the engine to high boost which saw bubbles in the tank. No obvious milky oil in cap or dipstick but coolant level has dropped. Possibly gasket or head ? Engine code is CSHA. Timing belt and water pump done at about 172 k km. Please send offer to discuss.

I broke a sparkplug ceramic whilst changing it. Could you help me extract the ceramic pieces from the sparkplug well so they don't fall into the cylinder? Looking for someone that has done this before and knows a method that can guarantee successful extraction of all the pieces, as I think I'm screwed if they any fall into the cylinder. Ideally maybe if you have a mobile shop vac and we attach a tube?
