Hi, I’m looking for an experienced mechanic who is available tonight to have a look at my car. I’ve been hearing a loud squeaking/squealing noise from the brakes when driving, and it seems to be particularly noticeable when reversing. I’d like someone to inspect it, diagnose what’s causing the noise, and repair it if possible. I also have a front left headlight/light that isn’t working. If it’s something simple like a bulb replacement and can be done at the same time, I’d appreciate getting that sorted as well. What I need: Inspect and diagnose the brake squeaking/noise Repair/replace whatever is necessary if possible Check the front left light and replace the bulb Ideally someone who can come to me and complete the work tonight but I can go to you if you have a shed. Please let me know what parts would be required and whether they’re included in your offer I’m hoping to get the most important issue (the brakes) sorted. If the light can also be fixed within the budget, even better. Please only offer if you’re confident you can diagnose the issue properly and safely. Thanks!

Repair chipped alloy wheel – Mazda 3 I have a small chipped/gouged section on the edge of one alloy wheel from curb damage. The wheel is not leaking air and appears to drive normally. I’d like the damaged area repaired and refinished so it looks close to original. Please advise whether welding is required. Photo attached. Located in Doncaster VIC.

Hyuandai Tucson 2007, idles rough , starts and runs then suddenly loses power and starts to drive slow. It comes and goes. Revs and Jumps occasionally at lights like like its being reved when my foot’s on the brake. Doesn’t happen all the time like I said it comes and goes. I recently took it to a mechanic he changed the spark plugs , radiator and did and oil change with filter and service. I changed the coil packs myself. Someone knowledgeable please

Looking for an experienced and appropriately qualified mobile mechanic or panel beater to remove the existing bonnet from my Toyota Prado 120 Series and fit a replacement bonnet that I already have. Looking for someone experienced with body panels who can ensure the replacement bonnet is correctly aligned, fitted and adjusted so it opens and closes properly. Bonus if you’re also able to take the old bonnet away when the job is completed. Happy for you to on-sell. Please bring all tools required for the job. I broke a sparkplug ceramic whilst changing it. Could you help me extract the ceramic pieces from the sparkplug well so they don't fall into the cylinder? Looking for someone that has done this before and knows a method that can guarantee successful extraction of all the pieces, as I think I'm screwed if they any fall into the cylinder. Ideally maybe if you have a mobile shop vac and we attach a tube?
