Diagnostic Equipment: Car Battery Check and Replacement
The most common electrical issue is a dead battery and is usually the culprit when your motor won’t start. Alternator Inspection and Replacement
If your motor won’t turn over and it so happens to be caused by a dead battery, that may not be the only problem. A dead battery could be the result of a damaged or non-working alternator. The alternator’s primary purpose is to power your car’s electrical system and ensure that the battery gets charged as the vehicle is running.

 

Should the alternator fail to charge the battery, this can drastically shorten the battery’s lifespan and cause it to drain out prematurely. You could be wasting money on a new battery every few months, no thanks to a bad alternator. Fault Finding: Replacing Spark Plugs
It’s incredible how a small thing like a loose or defective spark plug can cause a long list of problems for your motor. background story: Recently purchased a Daewoo Matiz 2000,manual. It was working ok,apparently had a recent service before I purchased 2 weeks afo.Battery then went flat,can’t recall why as no lights left on.Had it jump started.It worked briefly,I let it sit for 60mins to recharge.This May have over heated things.As I started to see white smoke,which it didn’t previously do.Then turned car off,then on and now Immobilizer is engaged so can’t do anything.Have just the key it didn’t come with a beep key ring.Just the key only.So I need a diagnostic report of any possible car problem codes and have these written out.Fix or remove alarm/immobiliser,change fuses.And work out and fix the white smoke issue,nrma said it might be from it being left on for 60mins,the heat or fuel injectors . So to wrap up I need alarm/immobiliser either restored or removed so it no longer messes up system in future and need you to sort out and fix the white smoke internal problem so my car is working again. Flexible on day and time.If you can do what I’m asking please apply.cheers
