Previous tenants (left 3 months ago) put lawn seed down and it looks to be Kikuyu Lawn. Just folds on itself when walked on. I’ve whipper snippered it once and just left a whole heap of mulch making it worse. The soil below is thick and rocky. There’s some rock and bark - just left in a bit of a mess by previous tenants with a dog that ruined it. If you can help me get it back to a somewhat manageable state, or any advice would be appreciated. I’ve looked up what to do - just don’t have tools at the moment to maintain myself. It’s not big enough to buy a lawn mower, so if you’re local and want a spare $20 every fortnight to help me out to keep my space looking nice - we could work something out! Possibly first whipper snipper initially then- go over it with a mower on a high setting (to break down clippings) also may need the edges done to prevent overgrowth and weed treatment if possible - they’re growing within the lawn. Thomas showed up on time and did what he could for my horribly tiny yard. Previous tenant just planted grass seed when it should’ve just been rocks… which is probably what I’ll be doing to prevent overgrowth again. Thomas recommended some steps in what to do next.
