I’m looking for an experienced handyman/cabinet installer to remove an old, damaged built-in wardrobe frame and install my new built in cupboards, which are already assembled and ready in my living room. What needs to be done: Dismantle and remove the existing wardrobe. including fixings, panels and trim. Move the new, already-assembled cupboards into the existing space. Position, level and securely anchor the new cupboards to the wall. Ensure the cupboards are safely secured to prevent tipping. Clean up and remove old materials, if possible. The new cupboards have already been assembled and have been purchased to fit the existing space, so no cutting or modifications should be required. The existing wardrobe opening is approximately 1.8m wide, and the new assembled cupboards have been purchased specifically to fit this space. The new cupboards will be completely emptied before the Tasker arrives, so they will only need to move/install the empty units. The main work is therefore removal of the existing built-in and securing the new assembled wardrobe units into place. Thankyou in advance!

Cut and installation of two strips of wood to cover gaps above and below our integrated dishwasher. Wooden panels already available in the house to match the cabinetry for the rest of the kitchen. Length of each panel will be ~60cms, with flush finish but bottom panel to be removable to allow access to the underfloor of the dishwasher. Top strip panel to minimize as much of the gap as possible, with a seamless finish to minimise any gaps to either side.

I’ve purchased a new Baumatic built-in microwave to replace an existing built-in microwave of the same brand: https://www.bunnings.com.au/baumatic-built-in-stainless-steel-microwave-28-litre-900w-bam28tk-2-stainless-steel-built-in-900-w_p1020031 The new microwave is almost the same size and the front panel/trim fits the existing space, but the cabinet opening is just slightly too low. As shown in the photo, the microwave can slide most of the way in, but the metal ventilation/duct section on top catches on the upper edge of the cabinet. It appears to be only a few millimetres short. I’m looking for an experienced handyman/cabinet maker to: * Check the fit and installation requirements and make any necessary adjustments/trimming to the cabinetry so the microwave can be properly installed and secured * Make sure the ventilation is not obstructed and the finished installation looks neat * Suggest an alternative solution if there is a better way to make it fit without modifying the cabinetry Please let me know if you’ve done similar built-in appliance installations before and what you would recommend.
