What you'll be doing: Working independently on carpentry and cabinet making tasks, problem-solving on the go rather than waiting to be told each step. Reading and interpreting job requirements and finding practical solutions on site. Producing accurate, detail-oriented work to a high finish. General support wherever the team needs an extra pair of skilled hands. What we need from you: Certified carpenter or cabinet maker with solid trade experience. Self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems instead of waiting for instructions. Detail-oriented and precise in your work. Physically fit, comfortable standing and lifting throughout the shift. Clear spoken English so you can follow instructions and communicate safely with the team. Reliable, punctual and able to work at pace. Steel cap boots and safe workwear. Hey guys, looking for quotes on 5 ultra‑basic builds. Each module is literally: timber frames OSB/ply for walls, floor, roof waterproof tape/sealant polycarbonate windows 2× glass sliding doors per module No insulation, no cladding, no services. Just simple framed boxes with OSB/ply skins. I’ve estimated labour at ~$100/hr and want to confirm/refine my numbers before I start selling these modules. Example: the 11.5sqm room only needs two 4.5m × 2.5m frames + two 2.5m × 2.5m walls + OSB/ply + two sliding doors. Very basic. Looking for: labour quote per module material confirmation if needed any corrections you recommend Image attached showing ultra-simplified measurements. Thanks. Also im not incorporating call -out yet, but if you know- what is the bonus general cost for a 2-hour drive out from melb if you know? cheers. Ball-park estimates are fine. (both individual build cost (one truckload for one 10-50sqm wooden structure) and bulk, say -10x bulk structures cost.) P.S. Job for Adelaide SA. We need someone to assist in replacing two sliding wardrobe doors and help installing them. Measurements are roughly: - wardrobe 1: 2500 x 1313mm - wardrobe 2: 2230 x 1135mm There is currently no track on the bottom, only on the top. There is a pelmet above the doors as the ceiling is slopped. We would like quotes for timber sliding doors and also just white to see price difference. I’ve included a photo of each wardrobe and an example of what we would like to replace it with.
