My cabinet shelf has broken (see photos). The material is chipboard and the side edge has snapped, so it cannot be repaired and needs a full replacement. The cabinet is not perfectly square, so the new shelf may need to be measured and cut precisely on-site for a proper fit. What I need: * Measure the cabinet space on-site * Supply and cut a new shelf (white or similar finish) * Install the shelf securely * Check and upgrade the support system (likely the cause of failure) Important requirements: * This is a rental, so the solution must not damage or visibly alter the cabinet * Prefer heavy-duty shelf pins or discreet internal support * No visible drilling or permanent changes * Looking for a durable fix, not a temporary repair Additional note: * The previous shelf broke. I won’t be storing heavy items going forward, so side support (pins) similar to the original setup should be fine. Open to your recommendation if any small reinforcement is needed. Open to suggestions on better materials (e.g. slightly thicker or stronger board than chipboard). Measurements (approx) * Width: ~56 cm * Depth: ~66 cm * Thickness: ~1.5 cm Cabinet is slightly irregular, so please measure on-site before cutting. This is bit of a left of centre post but I am looking for an experienced and creative woodworker / welder / furniture maker type person to construct for me a custom designed parcel letterbox. The letterbox has a corten steel outer 'shell' and a hardwood timber (or potentially coated plywood) interior 'box', set slightly back from the front of the corten steel shell. The front and back faces of the box need to be hinged and openable for easy access to the letterbox for both us and the postie. The inner box won't have a top (although may need to have a small 'ledge' at each end of the top to allow something to hinge the doors to), so letters can basically drop right into it. I've attached my plan for the letterbox and am looking for someone to help me build it. The pricing I've indicated here is simply a placeholder. If you could provide an idea of timeframe and price to assist, that would be great. I am based in Woodend in the Macedon Ranges, VIC, and would be happy to collect this once built. Please let me know if you have any questions. I've attached an image of an existing letterbox (although this is only corten steel and doesn't use any timber) in the rough style I'm looking to create with this letterbox for your reference. (Note: I am also very open to creative interpretations of my design if you have any practical suggestions that might help improve the build time and cost).

I’ve attached an image of exactly the look, feel, colour scheme, using wood, solid play kitchen & cafe! My kids are not toddlers their ages are 6, 8 & 9 (tall kids) so the height and width are important 190cm width 86cm height 55cm depth Copy the image you see but mirror my sizes please, happy to add an extra cupboard or shelving room for fruits, vegetables, microwave etc and looking for only someone with EXCELLENT craftsmanship. I will cherish it forever!

Hi, I’m looking for a carpenter, cabinet maker, or wardrobe installer to help build a clean built-in cabinet for an entry/storage area. I have attached an image of the space with dimensions marked up. The approximate measurements are: Width: 2540 mm Height: 2400 mm (Full wall) Depth: 470 mm I’m open to either sliding doors or hinged doors, depending on cost and what works best for the space. The internal layout will need to be discussed in person, but I would like it to include: One section for shoe storage One section for hanging coats/jackets Clean built-in finish Any required framing, side/top filler panels, tracks, hinges, or finishing pieces Measure-up before final quote Supply and installation preferred I’m open to suggestions on the most cost-effective and clean-looking option. Please let me know whether you recommend sliding doors or hinged doors for this space, and provide an estimate including materials and labour. Location: Rockdale, NSW Thanks.
