Hi, I’m looking for a quote to get free-to-air TV working at my house in Box Hill. • Double-storey house • Colorbond roof • Solar panels installed on the roof • Two TV points already installed by the builder- one upstairs and one downstairs • Builder did not include/supply a TV antenna • No antenna currently installed I’m looking for a reliable and reasonably priced solution to get both existing TV points working. - Fully assemble and wall mount the IKEA BESTÅ TV unit as per ikea instructions. - There are existing power outlets behind the location of the floating unit - these outlets will need to be accurately measured and cut-outs made in the back of the BESTÅ unit so the existing outlets remain accessible once installed. - Install VJ panelling on one side of the wall behind the TV. These panels will need to be cut to align the height with the tv unit. We are planning on ordering 2x SpecRite 2700 x 600 x 21mm Walnut Timber Acoustic Panel from Bunnings. Installer will need to bring their own complete toolkit, including all tools required for assembly, drilling, wall mounting, levelling, making the power-point cut-outs and installing vj panelling. * IKEA BESTÅ components and the associated installation/mounting hardware are supplied with the unit. * Clean up all drilling, cutting and assembly debris after completion. I’m looking for an experienced TV installer to: * Remove the existing TV wall mount currently installed on the feature wall. * Reposition the wall mount slightly lower to achieve the correct viewing height. * Securely reinstall the mount, ensuring it is properly fixed to the wall/studs and level. * Install and securely mount a Samsung 83” OLED TV onto the wall. * Ensure the TV is perfectly level, centred and securely mounted. * Check that the existing mount is suitable for the 83” Samsung OLED; if it isn’t suitable, please advise before installation. * Carefully handle the TV and protect the existing feature wall during the work. Important: This is a large and expensive 83” OLED TV, so I’m looking for someone with proven experience installing large 75–85” TVs, particularly Samsung OLEDs. Hi there, I have a 75 inch Samsung TV that is wall mounted, I am rearranging my living room and would like it moved to another wall. I live in an apartment block and I was told that the studs in the wall are metal rather than wood by the last person that mounted it, I’m not sure if this is important.
