Hi there, I need an experienced handyman, plasterer, or painter to remove a wall-mounted TV bracket, repair the plasterboard, and touch up the paint in a single visit. Scope of work: Lift down TV: Unhook a [insert size, e.g., 55-inch] TV (currently still mounted on the wall) and set it safely aside. (I am on-site and happy to help lift it down). Remove bracket: Unscrew and remove the standard wall mount bracket from the plasterboard/studs. There are no recessed cable pass-through cutouts behind it—just the standard mounting bolt holes. Repair torn paint/paper: Below the TV, an adhesive cable conduit was removed and pulled off a patch of paint/surface paper (approx. [insert rough size, e.g., 40cm x 5cm]). Loose edges will need trimming, sealing so the paper doesn't bubble, and skim-coating flush. Patch & sand: Fill the bracket screw holes and skim the torn paint section using rapid-set compound, then sand smooth. Prime & touch-up paint: Spot-prime the bare plaster and apply touch-up paint over the repaired areas. I will supply a 1L tin of colour-matched topcoat paint on-site plus any other consumable items you might need such as drop Tools & Materials: Reusable tools: Please bring all your own tools (drills/sockets, plastering knives/trowels, sanding block, roller frame, heat gun/dryer). Consumables: I will supply a 1L tin of colour-matched topcoat paint on-site. I am also happy to supply consumables (filler, sandpaper, drop sheet, roller sleeve, primer) if you let me know what you need, OR you are welcome to use your own trade rapid-set compound/primer from your kit—just let me know in your offer what is easiest. Flexible with day/time and will be available to assist with removal of TV from bracket. A photo of the torn paint section below the TV is attached. Thanks!
