I’m looking for an experienced home theatre or audio-visual technician to configure and optimise my existing home entertainment system. Equipment Available: • Marantz AV amplifier/receiver • Jamo 5.1 surround sound speaker system • LG Smart TV • Sony CD player • DigiJet karaoke equipment Tasks Required: 1. Connect and configure the Marantz amplifier with the LG Smart TV and Jamo 5.1 speaker system. 2. Check all five speakers and the subwoofer to ensure the surround sound system is connected correctly and working properly. 3. Configure the TV audio output and amplifier settings for the best possible sound quality. 4. Connect and configure the Sony CD players and DigiJet karaoke equipment. 5. Ensure the microphones, music playback and karaoke audio work correctly through the available speakers. 6. Test the complete setup, troubleshoot any connection or compatibility issues, and demonstrate how to switch between TV audio, CD playback and karaoke. 7. Provide a brief explanation of the connections and settings so I can operate the system confidently. Ideal Person: Someone with hands-on experience in Marantz AV receivers, 5.1 surround sound systems, home theatre installations, LG Smart TVs and karaoke equipment. Expected Outcome: A fully connected and tested home theatre and karaoke system, with all equipment working together as intended. Please bring any basic tools or cables required for testing, and let me know beforehand if additional cables, adapters or accessories may be needed. Remove and Reposition Existing TV Wall Mount + Remove Bracket from Old TV Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with TV wall mounting to help with the following job. What I need done: • Remove my existing TV wall mount bracket from the wall. • Reinstall the bracket securely in the new position. • Remove the mounting bracket attached to the back of my old TV. • Check that the existing wall mount is suitable for my new 85-inch TV before reinstalling it. Additional information: • I have already purchased a new 85-inch TV. • I would prefer to reuse my existing wall mount if it is compatible with the new TV. • My old TV has been removed from the wall and is currently resting on the floor. • One of the existing mounting screws appears to be bent. I’ve included a photo so you can assess the situation beforehand. • Please bring your own tools and let me know if any additional hardware or a replacement wall mount is required. I need someone to diagnose and drill a few holes into a wall for a small TV mount. I already have the TV mount and all the hardware. The problem is that my drill gets to a certain depth and then hits something solid, so I need someone who knows what they’re doing to work out whether it’s the wall, the drill/bit, or something behind the wall, and drill the holes if possible. It should be a very quick job. I’m in Kingsville and looking for someone that knows what they are doing asap.
