I’m after a quote to install a 1.5 kW split-system air conditioner (back-to-back installation) at my property in Carrara, QLD. The indoor unit will go on the wall above the bed (see photo), and the outdoor unit can be mounted directly behind it on the external wall (also in photo). It’s a straightforward back-to-back setup with short pipe run and easy access. The shed is already fully powered with a sub-board (photo attached) and a dedicated A/C circuit breaker in place. Install Samsung Reverse Cycle Split System F-AR24BXECNWK1 https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/samsung-c68kw-h72kw-reverse-cycle-split-system-f-ar24bxecnwk1 Old unit was removed sometime ago. Existing Wiring and isolation switch is still there on a 20 amp breaker (requires upgrading to 20 amp RCD single pole breaker in switchboard). So really just a replacement with new copper pipes needed. 3m max for copper pipes. Must be licensed to install and provide a quote prior to starting. Also an invoice when job is finished so the new unit can covered by warranty. Further details in Photos. Would like to get this done on or after 17/11/25
