The air conditioner tripped due to a short circuit. The indoor unit wasn't running at the time, so a short circuit in the outdoor unit's circuit breaker is suspected. A licensed electrician is needed to repair it.

I am living in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have air conditioner in 1 of the bedrooms and I want to install one minisplit (air conditioner) in the other bedroom that never had an air conditioner equipment. I am wanting to get a split system air conditioner in my lounge room. I am wanting the right person to come and check out the environment as my house is a touch on the older side. My offer is $250 for the air conditioner to be installed and $50 to come and assess my house to make sure its possible and to let me know what size of air conditioner is recommend for my lounge room. If it is possible I would definitely like the same person who assessed the environment to do the job as I would have to start this process again. If your happy to installl the system without looking at my house that's also okay and id be willing to pay $300 instead of the $250 but you would need to be 100% confident it can be done. Please only respond to this job if you experience and ideally you'd be certified and confident doing this job. Wanting to install the aircon in the coming weeks just not exactly sure when that will be as I need to purchase the air conditioning unit that ideally the right person can recommend for the area hence wanting someone coming to do a quote before installation as I am a widower and my fiancé delt with the handy stuff when he was alive.
