I have old steel corner windows with the levers. I forced it open the other day and it no longer works. Could be just a little thing. The other window is stuck and I would like to make it permanently closed. Also take off all the little bits and pieces so it can be painted. Photo shows the stuck window. The casing of the sash window’s spring shattered and the spring has tangled. The window doesn’t really open because of this. I’m in a 70s brick unit in Hawthorn, on the first floor. The sash windows are very old and one of the springs has broken when opening the window. I’ve attached some photos, including what one of the non-broken window frames looks like.

We live in apartment a few floors up in Hawthorn. The casement window in our kitchen is damaged. Two parts of the metal frame should be perfectly sealed, but as shown in the attached image, this seal has been breaking apart (see the peeling near the right handle). Your task would be to fix the seal joining these two metal pieces as expected. Safety is of concern here so professionals who work with windows and similar building features would be greatly preferred. - Due date: Flexible

Both locks have broken off. Please source and bring new handles and attach them to the window frame. Current screw holes are 35mm apart. See pictures. Wasn’t able to find appropriate handles at bunnings.
