I live in a Level 5 apartment and have an approximately 3 m wide × 2.6 m high balcony opening. The balcony has: * a concrete ceiling/slab above; * a solid wall on the left; * an existing window frame on the right I’m looking for a floor-to-ceiling fixed aluminium frame with pet-resistant insect mesh. Ideally, the aluminium frame would be fixed securely to the suitable structural surfaces — the ceiling, left wall, right-side frame/structure and bottom area — rather than relying on adhesive or temporary fixings. The main purposes are to: * safely enclose a cat on the balcony; * reduce mosquitoes and other insects; and * provide a secure, permanent installation that can withstand strong winds. As this is a Level 5 balcony, I do not want an adhesive-only or temporary/no-drill solution. I would like the installer to assess the most appropriate mechanical fixing method and structural attachment points. Ideally, the installation should be able to be completed safely from inside the balcony without requiring external access. Could you please advise whether this type of installation is possible and provide a quote? Info from other units which have cat net installed Enclose balcony opening (approx L: 3.05m x H 2.68m) from floor to ceiling with black 19mm x 19mm netting, strengthened on the edge with 5mm black nylon rope, to provide secure space for cats. - Netting to be attached to 2mm stainless steel wire frame with metal C-rings. - The wire frame, pulled taut with stainless steel M5 turnbuckles, attached to concrete ceiling, walls and floor using 8 mm and 6mm dynabolts (this requires drilling holes to a depth of 40mm).
