We need someone to fix our rear pedestrian gate. The current gate was installed incorrectly and needs to be removed and replaced with a new one that sits flush with the rear fence, is the same height, and does not have a hole/opening for the door latch. The fence height is 1.8 metres, but due to the sleeper, the overall height is slightly higher. Please refer to the photos for clarification. If you can do this job, please call me. We need a side gate and short fence section supplied and installed at our home. Gap between fence and house is approx 2.5m (and would like a gate that is hopefully approx 2.0m in width). Scope: • Supply a large prefab gate (eg Bunnings or similar) + hinges + latch + galvanised post + wood pailings + fixings. • Install gate with hinges on the right-hand side (may need gal post fixed against retaining wall or set in ground). • Add pailings to gate to bring height to approx 2.0m. • Fit latch. • Attach about 6.0m of 1.2m-high pailings to an existing fence. Open to suggestions too if there’s an easier or better way - we’re easy to work with, easy access to work area and parking. Looking to get it done before 23 Aug so we can secure side of house. Hi, We need to replace the top lock on our gate to something more sturdy as the bottom lock sometimes fills up with dirt and the dogs are able to push out of the gate. We are thinking the same lock on the bottom gate but positioned sideways? Open to ideas. This gate is the only entrance into the house - the lock needs to be accessible to open from the outside which is why my thoughts is to do the same lock at the bottom but sideways
