Hi, We need to replace the top lock on our gate to something more sturdy as the bottom lock sometimes fills up with dirt and the dogs are able to push out of the gate. We are thinking the same lock on the bottom gate but positioned sideways? Open to ideas. This gate is the only entrance into the house - the lock needs to be accessible to open from the outside which is why my thoughts is to do the same lock at the bottom but sideways
