Winter turf laying
It's a common misconception that grass installation during winter is a big no-no. On the contrary, there are many benefits to turf laying during this colder season of the year. For one, your turf has enough time to settle and grow roots before the arrival of springtime. Also, laying grass turf during winter means you won't need to water it as often and thus makes it easier to maintain.
Your winter turf fitting service starts with a Tasker measuring your lawn area and preparing the ground for new turf. They level your soil using a rake, and carefully remove any weeds, stones, roots, and other debris. Your Tasker then starts to layout each turf roll ensuring each end is laid out as flat as possible. The last step involves checking if the entire lawn is shaped together firmly with no unsightly gaps between the turf.
Summer turf laying
Summer is that time of the year where people spend as much time as possible outdoors enjoying their home garden or lawn. Even with warmer weather conditions, you can still lay turf during summer as long as you know the basics of proper turf maintenance. Since turf rolled up during summertime can quickly lose its quality, your Tasker immediately gets to work by preparing the ground for turfing using a specialised pre-turfing fertiliser.
They quickly layout and water your turf to keep the soil from drying out. Your Tasker also uses laying boards to help avoid walking on wet soil and damaging it before installation. Once the job is complete, your Tasker can give out some reminders, including constant watering every day for the next two weeks.
AstroTurf installation
If you prefer to install specific brands of artificial grass such as AstroTurf, you can also get help from Taskers for artificial grass installation. Similar to turf laying, the first step involves measuring your lawn area and then removing the existing surface. If you own a small lawn, this task can be completed by hand. For larger spaces, it's best to use a turf cutter.
Your Tasker covers the topsoil with a sand or stone base before they compact it using a vibrating roller or plate. Then, they carefully roll out your artificial grass in the direction of your house for a more natural look. Finally, your Tasker trims away any excess grass and brushes your entire lawn to complete your AstroTurf installation.

Looking for someone to help me install turf (30 sqm) in my backyard. Turf will be laid in patches, not a full lawn.
