Edit: I no longer need the plants cut down, only the 2 stumps removed and the ground leveled out- have attached new photos. I would like to lay some ready-made Sir Walter turf for a smallish area in our backyard. However, in order to lay the turf I have to do the following: 1. Dispose of ~1 cubic metre of existing soil 2. Dig up approx 100mm of existing gravel (approx surface area 10 square metres, so 1 cubic metre in total), taking care to avoid existing underground irrigation pipes. 3. Dispose of the above gravel 4. Install appropriate fill layer to go underneath new turf 5. Install one additional pop-up sprinkler to water this new section of lawn 6. Lay the turf I'm after someone to complete all of the above, including disposal of waste soil, and importation of new soil.
