The floorboards in our kitchen/dining area show some movement. We can handle the bounciness, but in 2 spots the floorboards, when walked on, lead to very annoying sounds in cabinetry & a floating wall that is attached to the floorboards. This has only started occurring in the last 6-12 months. My hunch is that you would have to pinpoint the source, access the sub-floor and prop up or wedge the floorboards into a more stable position. The outcome we are seeking is that we can move around the kitchen without being tormented by these sounds!

I need a skirting board expert to finish a job I have started. I have a large open plan lounge room/dinning room/kitchen and 2 hallways that have recently had a new floor installed. I have cut and installed skirting boards on 95% of the area. The skirting boards are all prepainted. I need some one to, cut and install a couple of the final pieces, fill the nail holes, putty the mitres, touch up paint on the boards as required and silicone seal them in. I have all the consumables to complete the job.
